Kevin Hagerty is leading the transformation of the district energy industry, driving Vicinity Energy’s bold transition to electrification and the rapid expansion of eSteam™—the first clean thermal energy product of its kind. Under his leadership, Vicinity is redefining how cities decarbonize, establishing itself as the clear leader in sustainable district energy across North America.

Prior to becoming CEO, Kevin served as Vicinity’s Chief Operating Officer and Chief Technical Officer.  Kevin brings more than 25 years of experience in the energy industry, including nearly a decade in senior leadership at Veolia North America.

Kevin is a graduate of the United States Merchant Marine Academy, where he earned a degree in Systems Engineering with a focus in Mechanical and Nuclear Engineering. He also holds an MBA from Boston University.
