At Vicinity Energy, the security and well-being of our employees and those who seek to join our team is our top priority. Recently, we have seen an influx in recruitment fraud, which at times uses information that makes the fraudulent activity appear as if it is coming from Vicinity staff.
Do not respond to job offers or requests to interview for roles from non-Vicinity Energy email addresses. All communications related to sensitive information and job offers for Vicinity roles will come from a contact with a vicinityenergy.us email address.
We assure you that we will never request payment for processing your documents, refer you to a third party for application or visa processing, or ask for money in order to pursue employment opportunities with Vicinity. If you receive any such requests, they are fraudulent. Please do not send money to anyone claiming they can get or guarantee you employment with Vicinity.
If you suspect you have received a fraudulent job offer or listing, resources are available to you. You can take the following actions:
Retain the original fraudulent communication for further investigation but do not engage with or reply to the sender.
We appreciate your vigilance and ask for your cooperation by reporting any suspicious activity that appears to be connected to or coming from Vicinity.
