In this session, Phil will provide a comprehensive overview of Vicinity’s groundbreaking efforts to transform our Cambridge, MA facility by electrifying our operations to deliver carbon-free eSteam™ to prominent institutions such as Emerson College. We will share insights into the detailed process and steps involved in implementing Vicinity’s electrification strategy, highlighting the integration of innovative technologies such as an industrial-scale 42MW electric boiler, and the planned installation of an industrial-scale heat pump complex and thermal storage.
