As Account Manager at Vicinity Energy, Phil builds and maintain critical customer relationships in the Boston and Cambridge region.

Each year, Built Environment Plus hosts the Boston Building Tech Forum, a series of 45 x 5-minute lightning talks where industry leaders present practical innovations accelerating the sustainable and regenerative design, construction and operation of the built environment.

Several members of the Vicinity team attended and Vicinity’s Account Manager Phil Gaspar presented at this year’s Boston Building Tech Forum.

In his session, Phil provided an overview of Vicinity’s groundbreaking efforts to transform our Cambridge, MA facility by electrifying our operations to deliver carbon-free eSteam™ to prominent institutions throughout Boston and Cambridge.

He shared insights into the detailed process and steps involved in implementing Vicinity’s electrification strategy, highlighting the integration of innovative technologies such as an industrial-scale 42MW electric boiler, and the planned installation of an industrial-scale heat pump complex and thermal storage.
